Pink & Aqua

I Didn't put shopping links for this post because these are all items that you can find just about anywhere, and shouldn't spend a fortune on!

The two things that are unique are the Tassle Tote & the Nude Wedges.
You can find the Tote similar to mine (HERE) and Wedges (HERE...less than $30).
NOTE: I bought my Tassle Tote at a designer consignment store for $40...
(but I think this could be a possible DIY project! )

I absolutely LOVE mixing neons for summer.
One of my fave combos is neon pink and aqua. There are so many different color combos you can play with though. Pink goes with SO many neon colors...
(aqua, lime green, yellow, orange...just to name a few)
I got this tank from Marshall's for $9. Gosh I love Marshall's.
The brand is called "Paper Crown" and I have seen SO many of their things at Marshalls lately and its ALL CUTE.
And nothing is over $15.
The necklace and earrings are from Burlington Coat Factory.
I bought the set for $7.99 I believe.
I literally buy the majority of my statement necklaces there just because you can't beat that price.

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend so far. It's rainy here today so I think my sister and I are going to go do a little shopping.
Have a wonderful day!

Jenna

NYC Outfit: Black high-low dress

My sweet boyfriend and I went to NYC for the weekend and had the BEST time. I feel like we did so much
in just 2 1/2 short days. When your touring a big city or just running around your hometown doing errands, it is a MUST to be comfy...(&cute).
This black high-low dress definitely did the trick for my first day in the City...

Middle of Time Square

Central Park!

Grand Central Station

This dress is super comfortable and instantly looks put together because of the way the bottom is cut into the high in the front and low in the back effect. I got this dress at a local boutique for about $20...
This dress can be super versatile. I put a layered necklace with it from Cato's but you really could put tons of different statement necklaces with it and it would like a completely different outfit.
(for you local girls: I bought the dress at the store called EDGE in West Town Mall).
I gave you a couple of different options on dresses above to check out. Not all are exactly like mine, but they are ALL casual, cute, t-shirt like dresses and SUPER affordable!
Make sure to click the links above and check them out!

I paired my dress with the most comfortable (& cute) sandals I own.

These wide strap sandals are everywhere right now and very in. I love my white pair just because they go with everything...
 (and they were $20)
And did I mention they are like walking on CLOUDS?? seriously though, I walked all over NYC, and my feet never once hurt or got tired.
Now that's impressive!
I give you a link for the exact sandals like mine above, and they have TWO different colors.
I will def be ordering the tan as well.

If your going to NYC this summer and need tips on what to wear or what to see and do, please don't hesitate to reach out. My email is located at top of the page or leave a comment in the comments section!

Scallop Trim Obsession

Scallop top and Shorts (Marshall's) // Pink Crocodile Kate Spade cross body(Nordstrom)//
Cork Clutch (Cato's)// Nude Wedges(Cato's)//Karen Walker Sunglasses

This outfit is super simple. At first glance it looks just like a tank and shorts, but look a little closer and check out the SCALLOP trim. For whatever reason everyone and
their mamma is currently obsessing over scallop trim attire...and of course I am completely on this bandwagon as well,
if not the one driving and whipping the horse. Whipping a horse sounds mean, let's rephrase: I am politely shouting
"GIDDYUP SALLY" (assuming the horse's name is Sally).
Any who, I love everything scallop. I bought the top and shorts at my fave place of all time, Marshall's! The top was $15 and the shorts were $9.99 (not too shabby)

I also want to point out my shoes. My wedges are from Cato's.
I've talked about my recent love for Cato's in a previous post (here).
The wedges are a perfect nude and so comfortable. They literally can dress up any outfit or just make a casual outfit even cuter. Oh and did I mention they were 11.99?
(Yes I am serious)
If you are literally not in your car right now driving to Cato's screaming "GIDDYUP SALLY" as we speak then I'm not sure we can be friends.
(Just kidding.)
Literally when I saw these shoes I was super happy because of how cute they were... Then I flipped them over and saw the price and it was like I had just stumbled upon buried treasure.
Envision me in your local Cato's grabbing every shoe I can see and sitting in a corner hissing at anyone that even looks at a pair in my size. I don't think I did that...but that is
 EXACTLY HOW I FELT.
I literally found 5 pair of shoes I wanted but only ended up buying 3.
I go to NYC this weekend and cannot wait to wear these with my "going out" outfits.

In conclusion: do yourself a favor and go to Cato's and you seriously won't be sorry.
Hope you all have a fabulous week!
Don't forget I go to NYC this weekend and will be keeping you all posted via Instagram! Can't wait to show you all my outfits and all the pics of the city!!!

Weekend Beach Trip!

Hey Ya'll!
My BFF and I went to the beach for the weekend and had an absolute blast! I wanted to share some of my pictures of one of my favorite outfits.
Details and links to show below the pictures!

White Off the Shoulder dress (Here)

This white off-the shoulder dress is currently one of my favorites.
(I told ya'll I was off the shoulder obsessed.)
The dress is Topshop and I got it from Nordstrom during the Nordstrom sale.
(The one I wrote a post about a couple of weeks ago.)
It's super comfortable and
I love it because of how easy and effortless it can be!

I also am wearing TASSLE EARRINGS that I ACTUALLY MADE MYSELF.
I write this in all caps because if you know me personally you know I am the least crafty person ever.
(My crafts can usually be defined in two words: Pinterest FAIL)
But these actually turned out. I bought the tassles from Walmart in the craft section for $1.50 and then used fish hook earring sets (which can also be found at Walmart)
and attached them using pliers.
It was sooo easy and I was so happy with the finished product!
Trust me, if I can do it,
You definitely can.

If you want to see more of my beach pictures, make sure to follow me on instagram! @jennawaderay

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
Count your blessings and thank the One who gave them to you!

xoxo,
Jenna

Off The Shoulder Dress

Black Off the Shoulder dress (forever 21 here , not exact but I like this one better)// Gold Necklace (Burlington Coat Factory, couldn't find link)// Cork and Gold Clutch (Cato's here)// Tory Burch Jelly Sandals (no longer available)
Heart Sunglasses (American Eagle here)

Hey Ya'll!
So I'm officially obsessed with anything off the shoulder. And lucky for me and you (if your off the shoulder obsessed too)...dresses and shirts like this one are EVERYWHERE this summer. This dress is from Forever 21 and is so easy and comfortable. You really could wear it completely plain and still look adorable.

I also want to point out the necklace I'm wearing. It's made to look like this one here, which is by designer Kendra Scott.
However, I def did not pay $90 for mine. I paid $9.99 and got it at Burlington Coat factory.
 (insert laughing emojis here)
So I have always went to Burlington Coat factory for my jewelry. They have SO many statement necklaces and earrings, and almost ever piece is $5-$10. I'm telling you the place is awesome.
I hadn't been there in awhile honestly, and had kinda forgotten about it.
But, I was watching the Wendy Williams show and she had an adorable dress on and told me she got it from Burlington Coat Factory!
(because were bffs obviously)
So...what did I do, well I took my happy butt to Burlington Coat Factory.
Why? Because WENDY. SAID. SO.
(I hope you just pictured me snapping my finger in a Z formation in your face as I bob my head back and forth.) ....Cause that's exactly what I'm imagining while typing this.

Lastly, I want to point out my adorable clutch. Its a cork clutch with gold trim. It's like the material the wedge of wedges is made of! I'm really in love with it and actually found it at Cato's!
(I just keep blowing your mind with this post I know)
If you live in a small town like me, you def have a Cato's. If you don't, check their website,
Because for accessories and shoes they have an awesome selection! I can't WAIT to carry this clutch next weekend at the beach.
I bought 3 pair of shoes there also which I'll feature on here soon.

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! If you like any of the items just shop the links above!

xoxo,
Jenna

Like a Boss...(on a budget): The Blazer

Cream Blazer (Banana Republic|Goodwill//Similar Here and ON SALE)
White Chiffon Tank (New York and Company//Similar Here/ON SALE)
White Crop Pants(The Loft//Similar Here and ON SALE)
Nude Heels (Kohl's//Similar Here and ON SALE)
Anne Klein Hand bag (Here)

If you have to dress business casual for work, then you know how hard
it can be to steer away from the blacks and greys that most wear when they think "business casual." That is why I am in love with this Cream Blazer (or any blazer for that matter).
This Blazer is from Banana Republic, however I didn't pay Banana Republic prices.
I actually got this brand new, with tags, from Goodwill. (Gasp!)
Yes I know what you are thinking..."You shop at Goodwill?" And the answer is Yes....for certain things. (Blazers being one of them)
The thing about Goodwill is they have an awesome selection of Blazers, and a lot of times like this one...they have NEVER been worn and still have tags.
So, now would you rather pay over $100 for this Blazer or $7.99 like I paid?
My answer: $7.99 all day everyday and twice on the weekends, girlfriend.

I really recommend going to a Goodwill or any thrift store near you and checking out the blazer section. You'll find awesome colors and patterns and ones that not everyone at your office will be wearing. (and everyone wants to stand out right?)
A Blazer is the easiest way to go from Blah to Boss, simply my slipping a jacket on. A cream blazer is the perfect way to transition into summer while still looking business chic .

Ok enough about my love for Blazers...
I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend; I know I did! We live on the lake so it was so nice to finally get out on the boat and hang with family and friends.
Also, my best friend and I are going to the beach next weekend so I am getting pretty excited about that.
(So expect beachy outfit overload next weekend)

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Oh & One more thing: I would love to see how you wear your blazer! #sequins&lace on Instagram so I can check them out!

xoxo,
Jenna

Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

I told you all about the Nordstrom sale going on in my previous post...so I wanted to show you all what I bought from the sale! The Tassle necklace was one of my favorites...and it was only $9!! So I bought two colors, the hot pink shown above and an adorable turquoise one as well!

Right now I am obsessed with anything off the shoulder, so of course this white dress caught my eye. It's Topshop which is an awesome brand, think Forever 21 style only better quality. I cannot wait to wear it this summer with some summer wedges!

Hope you all are able to find some goodies at the sale!
Happy Shopping!
xoxo,
Jenna
