Red, White, and Fall



 

Hey Everyone! Hope your having a wonderful start to the week.

 

This outfit is not one I really expected to put together, but it kind of just happened because it was comfortable, easy, and cute.

 I normally would think to wear a plaid shirt and vest with some type of riding boot or bootie but I have been loving wearing my converse sneakers lately.

My converse are the high top leather version and I am SO glad I got the leather ones opposed to the canvas. They stay clean and if they do get dirty they are so easy to wash off. Plus I just love leather anything. I will definitely be wearing my converses as another option this fall opposed to constantly wearing boots. Let me tell ya another thing, high top converses are AMAZING with leggings and a t-shirt (my go to lazy outfit)...just saying.

I got the plaid shirt from the Nordstrom Sale this summer and KNEW I would be so happy to have it come fall. I couldn't find this exact plaid, but I linked one below that is same brand, price, and just as cute.

I love a good neutral puffy vest...(I'm not sure the exact word for these vests, I've just always called them puffy vests lol)

I got my vest from Marshalls for $24.99 and last time I was there they still had tons of vests. However I did go ahead and link a few vests for you below, some with really good prices!

 

In life news- I have been travelling non stop and am traveling again this week for work, but am definitely looking forward to the weekend. Going to be spending it with my little sister and we're going to Nashville for the Taylor Swift concert!!

 CAN. NOT. WAIT.

P.S- The cute puppy dog is my baby Charlotte. She's literally an angel. Rescued her three years ago and she is literally my sidekick and follows me everywhere. So of course she was watching Mommy do blog pics and wanted to join as well :)

Hey ya'll! It's finally Fall-(ish) and that means it's time for scarves, booties, vests and cozy cardigans. I absolutely love dressing for fall. This outfit is going to be warn on repeat, atleast until it gets frigid cold. I wanted to go ahead and post this outfit because it is perfect for that transition into fall, where its not yet COLD but still cool enough to wear a skirt and scarf.

I couldn't find a link to my scarf but I bought it at *drum roll please* Walmart...for $8.99

(LOL)

This is the typical blanket scarf that you'd buy in a boutique for $20 or more. And its JUST as cozy, big and soft..(I promise).

I'm absolutely loving the suede skirt trend this fall. These skirts are everywhere right now. Mine is from target and I posted the exact link above. I've also seen similar ones (without the laser cutouts) at Marshall's and TJ Maxx. ...so if your looking for one with just the buttons down the front check those places out as well.

The Denim shirt is one I've had but I tagged one similar. I bought this last year oversized to wear with leggings. I absolutely love that it's over sized as well because it allows me to knot it like I did above. If you don't have a denim shirt that is a MUST have fall staple. The possibilities of a denim shirt are seriously endless.

Last but not least I wanted to mention my purse!! It was only $40...but is designer Olivia + Joy.

It was originally $98 but I got it at Burlington coat factory. Another AMAZING place for accessories.

Black & White Gingham

 

 

Hey Ya'll!

So today's post is super exciting for a couple of reasons. The main one being that I have this new black and white gingham dress from eShakti that I'm obsessed with.

This dress is perfect in so many ways but I especially adore the ruffle sleeves. I paired my dress with new cheetah heels by Sam Edelman and a tortuous statement necklace.

This dress is pretty versatile and can be worn tons of ways...

{I'm having visions of wearing it with Black Hunter rain boots on a rainy day}

Lilly Pulitzer: All Nighter Maxi

Lilly Pulitzer Multi All Nighter Maxi

Hi guys!

So as I said in my last post (see here),

this week on Sequins & Lace is Lilly Pulitzer week! 

Today's post I am wearing probably(most definitely) the most comfy Lilly Pulitzer dress I own.  This is the Multi All Nighter maxi. My precious boyfriend got this for me (and a trip to NYC) for my birthday. Man does he know the way to a girls heart!! I am super in love with this dress, it has flamingos, pink and other neon colors and it's SUPER LONG.

So I don't know if you all know this... but I'm like really tall, like 5'10. I own a total of 2 maybe 3 maxis because they are never long enough. That is definitley not the case with ANY of the Lilly Pulitzer maxis. So fellow tall girls out there, definitely invest in one of these babies.

Happy Fourth of July...Well Almost!

In honor of the upcoming holiday, I decided to do a post on what I'll be wearing for this weekend.

You all are probably SO sick of seeing me talk about the Off-the shoulder tops...if you are I apologize.

If your like me and you cant get enough of them, well grab a snack and a blanket and enjoy this post.

This navy top is adorable obviously because of it's bare shoulders but ALSO did you notice the cute pom pom details?

I absolutely adore pom poms!!

(along with fringe, tassles and anything in that category)

 I bought this top at Belk in the Juniors section for about $20...but of course its sold out. Don't worry though I found you all tons of cute alternatives below!

I paired it with my favorite white ripped skinnies from Charlotte Russe and my new HUGE tassle earrings. These earrings are very...uhm large. But I LOVE them.

What's better than a tassle?

AN EVEN BIGGER TASSLE DUH.

I also have on my new Steve Madden gladiator sandals which I love and they are on MEGA Sale.

The gladiator sandal trend always tries to make a comeback come summertime, but I think it really may have done it this time! I'm really loving the trend and have my eye on a couple other pairs of gladiator style sandals as well.
